During this module, we will focus on how to properly position your firm and the fund to prospective capital markets using the Capital Raise Canvas tool. The work done during this module becomes the basis of all of your marketing collateral (website, lead magnets, pitch deck, autoresponder email campaigns, etc.) and will feed into the various marketing tactics you choose to employ during your fund launch and beyond.

In this module, we'll walk through the process for putting together a super compelling investor pitch deck where your prospective investor is positioned as the hero of the story and you as their own version of Mr. Miyagi - the guide that will help them accomplish their dreams and live their best life. 

We will leverage much of the work done during the creation of your "Capital Raise Canvas". When we're done you'll have the slide-by-slide content that you can send to a presentation designer to make it look pretty.

During this module, we will leverage all of the work you have done up until this point and integrate it into a highly actionable plan that you will execute over the proceeding 90-days. You will roll this plan over each 90 days thereafter by integrating additional marketing tactics as you gain further traction. 

Having this plan in place makes sure that you are always focused on the very specific items that have the highest likelihood of "moving the needle".

During this module, we will discuss how to employ a consultative sales approach to fundraising so that your investors see you truly as their guide and advocate rather than a pushy salesperson looking to get their money. 

We will also discuss the common objections that investors have and how to overcome them. 

During this module, we will discuss what happens after your fund is up and running. We will hit on topics such as cash management, investor relations, investor reporting, fund performance metrics and much more.

During this module, we will discuss the wide variety of additional marketing tactics one can employ when raising investor capital along with advanced strategies for penetrating additional investor channels such as wealth managers.

In this module, we will discuss the four distinct phases of raising a fund - architect, form, launch and manage - along with the 20 distinct steps you must take to efficiently and cost effectively go through the process.

In this module, we will discuss the various fund structures you can use for your offering and which ones work best for certain strategies and certain investor types.

We will also discuss the various regulatory exemptions that are available such as Reg D 506(b) and 506(c), Reg CF and Reg A+. 

In addition to that, we will discuss how you can utilize different fund types alongside each other as you grow and scale as you create your Funding Flywheel.

During this module, we take everything you have learned up until this point to decide which type of fund you'll be using and which investor types you'll be targeting. We will go over how to utilize the provided fund financial models to nail down your investor terms (fees and waterfall).

We will also discuss all of the elements that need to be included in your Term Sheet and how to decide which provisions to include and why. 

At the conclusion of this module and the included exercises you will have a completed Term Sheet that you can share with prospective investors and to provide to securities counsel to begin drafting your offering documents.
